Online School

Online schools let students learn remotely using a computer. This can be a good choice for children who want to move ahead quickly or need a quiet place to focus. In Florida, every school district must offer at least one virtual option, and the state has the largest virtual school in the nation.

Florida offers online school courses that are usually tuition-free for public, private, and homeschool students. Families can choose online school full time or part time, giving them flexible learning options at home.

Please note, students using a School Choice Scholarship are considered non-public school students. They must use their scholarship funds to pay for online school courses, or pay out-of-pocket if their funds run out.
